PRESTON, Minn. (July 7, 2025) â This July, an exhibit highlighting the accomplishments of Black community leaders in Rochester and Southeastern Minnesota is coming to Historic Forestville.
The traveling exhibit, titled Still we Rise: Rochesterâs Black Legacy, launched in February 2024 and showcases the history and legacy of the regionâs Black community from the mid-1800s to the present day. It tells the story of the most significant people and events that have shaped the communityâs history.
Still we Rise will be on display at Historic Forestville from July 17â27 and can be viewed during the site's regular hours. Access to the exhibit is included in site admission.
