ST. PAUL, Minn (October 24, 2024) – On-demand history is coming to headphones across Minnesota! The Minnesota Historical Society is launching its first modern podcast: Minnesota Unraveled, which invites listeners to think like historians and learn about the past to reveal our place in the present.
Minnesota Unraveled, hosted by Dr. Chantel Rodríguez, is named after the rich tapestry that is Minnesota’s history of diverse experiences, cultures, and events that tell our state’s story. Each episode, Dr. Rodríguez will invite guests to pull on the threads of that tapestry to reveal new perspectives and expand listeners’ knowledge of Minnesota’s shared history.
The initial episode of Minnesota Unraveled launches November 7 at mnhs.org/unraveled. It features a conversation with well-known artist Jimmy Longoria and West Side Community Organization co-founder Ralph Brown about Muralismo in St. Paul’s West Side neighborhood. New episodes featuring fascinating guests with unique perspectives of Minnesota history will be released every-other week.
