Museum Assistant at the Atlatl Range

Teach visitors about the historic spear on the atlatl range. Volunteers assist visitors at the atlatl or spear throwing range. Visitors will learn the proper usage, encourages visitors through the atlatl experience and test their skill throwing an atlatl at a bison target. Set-up and take down of the station and supplies. Be able to physically demonstrate and model spear throwing. Environment will be outdoors on uneven and unpaved ground. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and bend.

Training is provided.
