John Krueger Jr. was the son of John Krueger. Born in Posen, Germany, in 1856 John Krueger Sr. immigrated to the United States with his wife, Henrietta. In 1862 they were living on a farmstead on mile west of New Ulm with their children Augusta, Rosina, Frederick, Caroline, Carl, Ernestine, August, and John, who is pictured.
