Forest History Center Hosts Be a Naturalist Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Minn. (July 17, 2024) â Explore the natural wonders of the north woods with the Forest History Center on Be a Naturalist Day, featuring outdoor activities and learning opportunities for the whole family on Saturday, July 27.
Climb aboard for a special horse-drawn trolley ride led by naturalists, learn how to make your own plaster tracks, and much more. During Be a Naturalist Day, families can experience the Mississippi River through the exploration of its macroinvertebrates and by practicing fly casting with Trout Unlimited.
Various organizations will also be on-site, such as Minnesota Master Naturalists, Minnesota Master Gardeners, North Country Trail Association, and more.
