About This Event
Minnesota’s forests have been shaped by natural events for four and a half billion years, and by human intervention for at least 10,000 years. While natural events provide perhaps the most dramatic effect, human impacts are more apparent in day-to-day encounters with the forest. Brad Jones will provide a perspective on how changing management practices over the past several centuries have shaped the forest we have today.

Brad’s work experience has spanned 40 years in forestry, including areas of forest inventory, forest management, silviculture and as an instructor of forest management.
