Join the Laurel School of Music for the Rothchild Concert Series at the Minnesota History Center. Each concert features a unique program performed by members of the music school’s faculty. Don’t miss this chance to hear the series in the beautiful History Center Museum on select Thursday nights from November to July!
The first concert will feature guitarist Scott Keever and multi-instrumentalist Tamir Nolley. Keever is an award-winning composer, musician, instructor, and collaborator who has composed and produced music for film, theatre, podcasts, and radio. He also performs with Orkestar Bez Ime (OBI), an award-winning Twin Cities group that specializes in folk music from the Balkan and Eastern European regions. Nolley, who specializes in saxophone, clarinet, upright and electric bass, plays with Art Beagle's Backup Band, Re'Unique, and as a bassist in the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra.
Free Minnesota History Center admission and parking is available every Thursday from 4-8pm. Beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks available for purchase. Learn more about the Laurel School of Music at https://www.laurelschoolofmusic.org/. This event is free and open to the public.
