Join us at the reception at the 3rd Floor Exhibit Gallery for Anne Labovitz, 122 Conversations: Person to Person, Art Beyond Borders – The Archive. This exhibit is a curated collection of Anne Labovitz' decade-long international project, designed to amplify cross-cultural connection through art and dialogue. Five sister cities from the citizens of Duluth, MN are featured: Rania (Iraqi Kurdistan), Växjö (Sweden), Petrozavodsk (Russia), Thunder Bay (Canada), and Ohara Isumi-City (Japan). The project serves as a catalyst for peace, one individual at a time through art.
Anne Labovitz was born in Duluth and lives and works in St. Paul. She conducted 60 interviews from individuals around the world to inform this exhibition, resulting in a brilliant display of color, resilience, and HOPE.
