About This Event
Join the Textile Center for a free workshop on pounded botanical printing! Create vibrant, nature-inspired designs on mordanted cotton bandanas using flowers and botanicals. Using fresh flowers and leaves from Textile Center's Dye Garden, the instructors guide you through the process of pounding them onto fabric or paper to transfer their natural pigments, creating stunning, one-of-a-kind prints on fabric.
Come for the Julia Child: A Recipe for Life exhibition, then stay for the workshop! The drop-in workshop will take place on the third floor from 6-7:30 pm. Feel free to drop in for the entire 90 minutes, or for as little as fifteen minutes.
Free Minnesota History Center admission and parking is available every Thursday from 4-8 pm. Learn more about the Textile Center at https://textilecentermn.org/.
This program is made possible by the Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
