About This Event

Step into the world of fresh herbs and flavorful creations during this hands-on, garden-inspired program! Begin your experience with a guided tour through the lush herb garden at the historic farm, where you’ll explore how culinary and medicinal herbs are grown and harvested.

Then head into the test kitchen for an interactive session where you’ll learn from speaker Toni Swanson, RDN, CSG, LD about the nutritional and herbal benefits of various herbs—and how to bring those benefits to your own table. Together, we’ll prepare a batch of fresh, dressing/marinade, highlighting the vibrant flavors and healthful properties of seasonal herbs.

Each participant will leave with a sample of their own handcrafted dressing/marinade and the knowledge to recreate it at home. Perfect for food lovers, gardeners, and anyone curious about using herbs in a simple, delicious way. There are four sessions throughout the morning and afternoon:

  • Friday 10am
  • Friday 11am
  • 12pm: Break for next session setup
  • Friday 1pm
  • Friday 2pm
