STATE OF MINNESOTA
STATE BOARD OF CONTROL

Mason-6785 April 3rd-1924

C J Swendsen, Chairman,
State Board of Parole,
Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Dear Sir:-
Regarding the attached I was Judge L. S. Nelson on March 27th and he recommends parole or pardon for Max mason-6785. Says he is rather doubtful if there was ever a crime committed but a jury passed on the case and there was enough testimony to support their verdict, so he could not allow a new trial. Judge Nelson said he would put his recommendation in writing and mail it to you.

Respectfully yours,

HBW
State Parole Agent
