March 22nd, 1923.

Pardon File #5702.

Max Mason,
State Prison,
Stillwater, Minnesota.

Dear Sir:

Your letter of March 18th is received. The Board of Pardons has made it a rule that they will grant interviews only to those men whose applications are on the current calendar. Since you have no application before the Board at the present time, they will not therefore grant you an interview.

This rule was made necessary by the heavy calendars during the past year.
Very truly yours,

Secretary.
