Mr. F. A. Whittier

Dear Sir

I have been laid up with a piece of steel in my left arm, was in the hospital from Monday until late yesterday, got a artery vein and nerve cut off. Will be laid up between a month and six weeks so the doctor say’s (sic).
Very truly yours
