February 15th 1923

Mr. Gilbert Stephenson

910 W. 4th Street
Duluth, Minnesota

Dear Sir:-
I have your letter of February 10th and think it would be unwise to ask the Board of Parole to discharge you just at this time. In another month or more you will have been our one year which they require before granting final discharge and I fear if the application was made now it would be denied while if made a month or two later probably would be granted.
You are at liberty to accept the position offered driving a truck and I know of nothing that would hinder your accepting it even though you are on parole.

Yours very truly

State Parole Agent.
