Duluth, Minn

Mr Charles E. Basaly (sic)
Supt State Reformatory
St Cloud Minn

Dear Sir- In regards to giving John Hammerberg employment on my farm at Lakewood Minn I can use the young man on the farm the year around at a salary of thirty five dollars per month and board. I’m a man that won’t stand for liquor or tobacco habit. The farm is half a mile out of the city limits of Duluth.
If this young man comes he can telephone me when he arrives I will meet him with my car and take him out to the farm.
Very truly yours
Capt. H H Thompson
