McDOUGALL-DULUTH SHIPBUILDING COMPANY
MANUFACTURERS OF
ENGINES, BOILERS, MARINE AUXILLIARIES
STEEL AND IRON CASTINGS
DULUTH, MINN.

March 21, 1921

Mr. Chas. E. Vasaly, Supt.,
Saint Cloud, Minn.

Dear Sir:

We find that Carl Hammerberg, born 2-18-91, was employed by us as Rivet Passer on two occasions viz – from 7-23-19 to 10-25-19 and from 4-15-20 to 6-19-20. He resigned 10-25-19 and was dropped from the payroll 6-19-20 because of continued absence.
We consider Hammerberg a fairly good employee and would rehire him if we needed passers. Nothing in our files or within our knowledge would be construed as detrimental to Hammerberg in respect to you inquiry.

Yours truly, Clyde Heimbaugh

Employment Manager.
