St. Cloud Reformatory
St. Cloud, Minnesota.,

Dear Sirs:
I know about the privacy act. I had an Uncle that spent some time in the Reformatory in the 1920s. I wonder if you could send me a copy of any material you have on him. His name was: John Carl Hammerberg. I would say he was then about 1918 or 1919. He was killed in a railroad accident in 1924.
If you feel you can send me a copy of the material I would prefer if you sent it to my home. 715 Pleasant View Road, Duluth, Minn., 55803. Thank you for you consideration to my request.

Respectfully yours,
Carl E. Hammerberg Sr.
